Root canals, leadership and Michael Hyatt

Okay, I know. It’s a stretch. But one of the benefits of being a blogger is that you can redeem almost any situation by writing about it. Every experience becomes fodder for a post. --Michael Hyatt
Everyone wants to lead in prosperity. No one wants to guide people through a root canal. A couple days ago, our sales guy Chad Ridner forwarded us this excellent article about leadership in tough times. As a professional writer, I can appreciate Michael Hyatt's attention-grabbing title. As someone who has gone through oral surgery and many orthodontist visits, I can relate to Hyatt's pain. People don't like the painful aspects of business any more than they enjoy root canals (or doing their books). They need someone to guide them through the process, doing quality work with empathy. With good leadership, the root canal days of business can become, as Hyatt puts them, "non-events."
